REQUIREMENT:
-
Work experience of 10-15 years out of which at least 5 years of experience at supervisory position in water/waste water, food and soil testing lab having facilities as per IS/ISO, ALPHA and ASTM procedures.

Knowledge of ISO 17025, ISO 9001, ISO 18001 and ISO 14001 procedures
-
Experience in operation of UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Atomic Absorption spectrophotometer, ICP-AES, Gas Chromatograph, HPLC and other related instruments.

Working knowledge of drinking water, wastewater sampling and routine process control tests.
-
Knowledge of computer applications.
-
Should be thorough in Laboratory management.

Excellent Organization skills.
EDUCATION: BSc (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and MSc (Chemistry- Inorganic/Analytical) from a reputed university/institution
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-
Ability to develop, organize, and improve the management records and reports pertinent to the activities for Regulatory Compliance.

Personnel management of Laboratory, to include recruiting, job assignments, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, job allotment etc.

Maintain chemical inventory, stock supplies and general grounds/facility maintenance.

Assist in the sample collection and analysis of wastewater samples and perform various lab tests, waste removal and other remediation services as needed.

Ensure that laboratory cost reporting, revenue reporting, and other financial data are accurate and submitted timely.

Responsible for assuring routine inspection and preventive maintenance and/or minor repair of laboratory equipment, ensuring that they are functioning properly and in a safe and efficient work environment.

Review industrial news and research to help consistently implement current best practices into laboratory operations.
