Job Description: System Administrator & Jenkins Intern

About the Role

Evervent Private Limited is seeking a motivated System Administrator & Jenkins Intern to support IT infrastructure, networking, and CI/CD automation activities. This role offers hands-on experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and Jenkins pipeline management.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and network devices.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Manage user accounts, system access, and IT assets.
Assist in maintaining LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connectivity.
Monitor and maintain Jenkins servers and CI/CD pipelines.
Support software deployment and automation processes.
Work with Git repositories and deployment workflows.
Ensure system security, backups, and documentation.

Required Skills

Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP).
Familiarity with Jenkins and CI/CD concepts.
Basic knowledge of Git/GitHub.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of Docker, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure), or scripting (Bash/Python).
Relevant certifications are a plus.

Eligibility

Diploma/Bachelor's degree (or pursuing) in Computer Science, IT, or related fields.
Freshers are welcome to apply.
