AREA SALES MANAGER (Job Description)

Job Type: Full-Time / On-site
Office Timing: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (Monday to Saturday)

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth through distributor management, retailer expansion, team leadership, and market development.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Increase primary and secondary sales.
Appoint and manage distributors.
Expand retailer/dealer network.
Lead, coach and mentor Sales Officers/Sales Executives.
Conduct market visits and competitor analysis.
Ensure timely collections and inventory management.
Prepare DSR, WSR and MSR reports using CRM/ERP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
5–10 years' experience in Ayurvedic/FMCG/Pharma/OTC sales.
2–3 years in team handling.
