Position Description:

As owner and operator of the vessels, we provide skilled officers and crews
dedicated to the safe, reliable, and economical operation of our fleet.
The Ship Management Intern will report to the Fleet Manager and work with the Fleet Management Team to review maintenance procedures and incorporate various preparations and checklists to ensure tracking.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare a digital twin model of the vessel with main focus on deck and potential use of the model for planning and tracking maintenance standards.
- Supporting the team in identifying, streamlining and laying out procedures of systematic onboard maintenance.
- Evaluate company forms and reports and provide suggestions on how the reports can be automated and enhanced.
- Work towards improving data visualization (Ashore and for the teams onboard vessels).
- Work with the company teams to create various circulars and campaigns and enhance the same with the help of visual aids.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Fleet Manager.
Requirements:
- A background in maritime would be an asset
- A background in Graphics design and data science will be an highly beneficial for this role.
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Sound organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Able to work with energy, showing initiative, resourcefulness and care for detail, neatness, diligence, in a fast-paced environment
