ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a seasoned and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our Finance team. This role is a pivotal support position to the CFO, combining hands-on SAP-based financial reporting with team leadership responsibilities. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, financial data extraction & analysis, and budget monitoring — while also guiding and mentoring junior members of the accounts team.
This role demands both technical depth in accounting and the interpersonal maturity The ideal candidate brings mid-level expertise, SAP fluency, and a proactive approach to financial stewardship.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A. CFO Support — Budgeting & Reporting
- Assist the CFO in the preparation, consolidation, and monitoring of annual and quarterly budgets.
- Track budget variances and prepare detailed variance analysis reports with commentary.
- Extract and analyse financial data from SAP including General Ledger, Sub-Ledgers, Trial Balance, and Profit & Loss Statements.
- Prepare MIS reports, cost summaries, and ad-hoc financial presentations for CFO review.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
B. SAP Operations & Data Management
- Operate SAP FI/CO modules to extract, verify, and reconcile financial information.
- Generate and review Trial Balance, Balance Sheet, P&L, and Ledger reports from SAP.
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of data entries, postings, and reconciliations within SAP.
- Liaise with IT/SAP support teams for system issues, data corrections, and report customisation.
C. End-to-End Accounting Operations
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Review and approve journal entries, debit/credit notes, and rectification entries.
- Manage vendor and customer account reconciliations to ensure timely clearance of outstanding items.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards (Ind AS / GAAP) and company financial policies.
- Support statutory and internal audit processes by providing required schedules, data, and clarifications.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, and internal teams during audit cycles.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) — Minimum Required
- M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) / CMA (Inter) or any equivalent qualification — Preferred
- Candidates with professional certifications in SAP FICO will be given added preference
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years of progressive mid-level accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proven hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting responsibilities.
- At least 2–3 years of experience working in SAP FI/CO environment is mandatory.
- Prior exposure to team handling or supervisory role will be an advantage.
- Industry exposure to manufacturing, trading, or services sector preferred.

ADDED ADVANTAGE
Knowledge of basic costing concepts will be considered a distinct advantage:
- Understanding of cost centres, cost elements, and activity-based costing.
- Familiarity with SAP CO module (Cost Centre Accounting, Internal Orders).
- Experience in cost variance reporting and profitability analysis.
Pay: From ₹500,000.00 per year
