Job Description Paraplanner & Client Associate

Location: Mumbai

About the Role

Blue Ocean Financial Services is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Paraplanner & Client Associate to support our Wealth Advisory team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about financial planning and wealth management. You will work closely with advisors in preparing financial plans, supporting portfolio reviews, coordinating client servicing, and ensuring seamless execution of advisory and operational processes to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Advisory Support

Prepare and update comprehensive financial plans based on client goals, cash flows, risk profile, and financial objectives.
Assist advisors in developing investment recommendations, asset allocation strategies, and portfolio solutions.
Prepare retirement, education, insurance, tax, estate, and goal-based financial planning analyses.
Conduct portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and support portfolio rebalancing recommendations.
Prepare financial planning reports, investment proposals, review presentations, and client meeting materials.
Track implementation of financial planning recommendations and coordinate periodic client reviews.
Stay updated on financial planning concepts, investment products, taxation, and regulatory developments.

Client Servicing, Reporting & Operations

Coordinate with clients for documentation, information gathering, service requests, and timely follow-ups.
Prepare portfolio valuation reports, client reports, review presentations, MIS, and investment summaries.
Support execution of investments across Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, ETFs, Insurance, and other investment products.
Coordinate with advisors, AMCs, custodians, product partners, and internal teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.
Maintain accurate client records, KYC documentation, investment data, reconciliations, and audit-ready records.
Support demat, remittance, and other wealth management operational activities while ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.

Who We're Looking For

CFP Level 2 Completed (Mandatory).
0–2 years of relevant experience in Wealth Management, Financial Planning, or Financial Advisory. Freshers with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply
Good understanding of Financial Planning principles and wealth management products.
Knowledge of Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, ETFs, Insurance, and investment operations.
Strong MS Excel, analytical, and communication skills.
High attention to detail, ownership, and a client-centric approach.
