We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Medical Coders to join our growing Medical Coding team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build a career in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) and Medical Coding. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing basic medical records, assigning appropriate codes under supervision, and ensuring compliance with coding guidelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesMedical Coding
- Review patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes for basic coding cases.
- Ensure coding accuracy under the guidance of Team Leads and Senior Coders.
- Follow established coding guidelines and client requirements.
- Maintain coding quality standards and productivity targets.
Documentation Review
- Analyze patient charts and healthcare documentation.
- Identify missing or incomplete information for coding purposes.
- Ensure accurate interpretation of physician documentation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
Learning & Development
- Participate in coding training programs and certification initiatives.
- Attend regular knowledge-sharing and skill development sessions.
- Learn specialty-specific coding workflows and processes.
- Stay updated with coding guideline changes and industry updates.
Quality & Compliance
- Adhere to HIPAA, CMS, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and payer guidelines.
- Follow company policies and client-specific coding standards.
- Participate in quality reviews and feedback sessions.
- Implement corrective actions based on audit findings and coaching.
Productivity Management
- Meet assigned daily productivity goals.
- Ensure timely completion of coding assignments.
- Maintain quality while achieving performance targets.
- Support operational objectives and service delivery commitments.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Team Leads, Senior Coders, Auditors, and Trainers.
- Participate in team meetings and operational discussions.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Physiotherapy, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- CPC certification preferred.
- Candidates pursuing CPC or other coding certifications are encouraged to apply.
Experience Required
- 0–2 years of experience in Medical Coding.
- Freshers with relevant educational backgrounds may apply.
- Internship or training experience in Medical Coding will be an advantage.
