Full job description

Responsibilities:

Able to deliver the highest quality of roto both character and inorganic objects to meet the client expectations;
Work with Production helping to breakdown task requirements and assign shots to artists;
Able to correctly identify the motion blur and make sure that the rotos will work for the compositors;
Perform the highest level of QC to make sure that the client requirements are met;
Complete assigned tasks effectively; able to troubleshoot and QA own work to the highest quality.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Roto Artist in a VFX Production environment. Experience working on international projects is a plus;
Excellent leadership, communication and problem solving skills;
Innate desire to stay informed of current technologies;
Expert knowledge of Silhouette and good knowledge of Nuke to make sure that the templates are accurate;
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail;
Strong time management skills and the ability to balance priorities under the pressure of a deadline-driven production;
A degree or diploma in computer graphics or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
A team-oriented mentality with a ‘get it done’ attitude;
An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment;
An ability to take direction and implement feedback with a positive attitude;
Approachable, proactive, and accommodating attitude.

Job Types: Regular / Permanent, Full-time
