Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner (GP) to provide primary healthcare services to patients at our clinic. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat common illnesses, provide preventive care, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure high standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct patient consultations and physical examinations
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
Prescribe medications and treatments appropriately
Provide preventive healthcare and health education to patients
Manage follow-up consultations and monitor patient progress
Handle emergency medical situations when required
Maintain accurate and updated patient medical records
Coordinate with nurses, pharmacists, lab staff, and other healthcare professionals
Refer patients to specialists when necessary
Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, medical ethics, and healthcare regulations
Participate in clinical audits, meetings, and quality improvement activities
Maintain proper communication and professional behavior with patients and staff
Support patient counseling regarding lifestyle modifications and disease prevention

Required Qualifications

MBBS degree from a recognized institution
Valid TCMC registration
Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred
Strong clinical decision-making skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in rotational shifts if required
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) is an added advantage
Malayalam communication preferred
