Role Overview
The Education Counsellor will support educational and social development initiatives by providing counselling, guidance, and communication support to students, children, women, and youth from diverse backgrounds.
The candidate will play a key role in empowering beneficiaries through educational consulting, career guidance, and motivational support.
Key Responsibilities
Provide educational counselling and academic guidance to students and beneficiaries.
Support career counselling and help individuals identify suitable educational and career opportunities.
Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions and group guidance activities.
Build positive relationships with students, parents, community members, and stakeholders.
Support educational initiatives and outreach programs conducted by the organization.
Maintain counselling records, reports, and beneficiary progress updates.
Coordinate with program teams to ensure effective implementation of activities.
Conduct awareness sessions on education, career opportunities, and personal development.
Encourage participation of children, women, and youth in developmental programs.
Ensure effective communication and emotional support for beneficiaries.
Educational Qualification
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in:
Social Work
Psychology
Education or related fields
Additional Preference:
MSW (Master of Social Work)
B.Ed qualification will be given priority.

Experience
Prior experience in counselling, education, NGO sector, or community development programs will be preferred.
Freshers with strong communication and counselling skills may also apply.
