HyreSpot is looking for a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to lead sales growth and expand our channel partner network across an assigned territory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, appointing and developing channel partners, achieving area-wise revenue targets, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. This role requires a hands-on sales professional who can independently manage a territory, analyse market performance, and convert business opportunities into sustainable revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales plans for the assigned area.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suitable channel partners.
Expand HyreSpot’s market presence by developing new territories and business networks.
Build and maintain productive relationships with channel partners, business associates, and key customers.
Generate qualified leads and revenue through direct sales and partner-led business.
Set clear performance expectations for channel partners and regularly review their results.
Support partners with product knowledge, sales strategies, marketing activities, and customer engagement.
Conduct partner meetings, service presentations, business reviews, and training sessions.
Track area-wise leads, conversions, revenue, and partner productivity.
Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve sales results.
Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Study competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging market opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, partner interactions, and business pipelines.
Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and market updates for management.
Coordinate with marketing, recruitment, customer support, and operations teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
Represent HyreSpot professionally during client meetings, partner discussions, and business events.
Required Qualifications and Experience
3–6 years of experience in area sales, channel sales, B2B sales, business development, franchise sales, or partner management.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, commerce, or any related discipline is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to achieve sales and revenue targets.
Experience in appointing, managing, and developing channel partners.
Strong understanding of territory planning and market development.
Excellent communication, presentation, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build long-term relationships with business partners and customers.
Strong planning, follow-up, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Comfortable working independently in a performance-driven environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, CRM tools, or sales-reporting systems.
Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
An established local business network will be an added advantage.
