Area Sales Manager – Poultry Additives

Company: Nright Nutrition Locations : Pune | Karnal | Jabalpur | Lucknow Experience Required: 5+ years Industry: Animal Health / Poultry Nutrition & Additives Employment Type: Full-Time

About Us:

Nright Solutions is a manufacturer of poultry feed and feed additives, producing medicated and nutritional products that are mixed into poultry feed to support flock health and performance. Our product range includes Butyrite-N70, Right-D3, Rmulin10, and Odorite HF, among others.

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive field sales of our poultry additive products across an assigned territory. This is a field-intensive role - the candidate will work directly with poultry farms, hatcheries, feed mills, and related businesses to promote and sell our products. A strong technical understanding of the products is essential, as the role requires explaining product usage, benefits, and dosage to farm owners, veterinarians, and other stakeholders in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive field sales of poultry additive products (Butyrite-N70, Right-D3, Rmulin10, Odorite HF, and others) within the assigned area
Visit poultry farms, hatcheries, feed mills, and distributors regularly to generate and close sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with farm owners, poultry veterinarians, and channel partners
Develop in-depth product knowledge and clearly explain product composition, benefits, dosage, and usage to customers
Identify new business opportunities and onboard new customers/dealers in the territory
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area
Handle customer queries and provide after-sales support and guidance on product usage
Monitor competitor products and market trends, and report insights to the management
Coordinate with the sales and marketing team for promotional activities, farmer meetings, and product demonstrations
Maintain accurate records of visits, sales, and customer feedback, and submit regular reports

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of field sales experience, preferably in poultry feed, feed additives, animal health, or veterinary pharma products
Sound knowledge of poultry farming practices and feed/additive usage
Any graduate (Bachelor's degree in any discipline); a background in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, or Life Sciences is a plus but not mandatory
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical product information to farmers and dealers
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory for field visits
Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field
Valid driving license and own vehicle preferred
