Full job description

What are we looking for?

This role focuses on managing the distribution function of the underwriting department and ensuring efficiency in turnaround times (TAT).

What does the job entail?

Core Underwriting: Oversee and perform core underwriting functions.

Team Management: Manage the underwriting department's key deliverables, ensuring that quality standards are maintained while achieving monthly targets.

Risk & Process Management: Implement effective risk management strategies and drive process improvements.

Training & Development: Train and mentor the underwriting team.

Turnaround Time (TAT): Efficiently manage the underwriting TAT for all new business and revival cases.

Quality Assurance & Compliance: Maintain and update underwriting guidelines to ensure they comply with company standards.

Work Experience

2-3 years of total work experience, preferably in the underwriting process, with knowledge of the Life Asia system.

Essential Qualification

A bachelor's or postgraduate degree is essential.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
