Full job description

We are looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical support and troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, software, and basic network-related issues. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth IT operations and providing timely support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and IT peripherals.
Install and support Windows 10/11 operating systems.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating system issues.
Install and configure Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and other applications.
Provide basic support for Active Directory, user accounts, password resets, and permissions.
Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP issues.
Configure and troubleshoot network printers and shared devices.
Perform hardware replacement and upgrades such as RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboards, and other components.
Install antivirus, security updates, and required software.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to end users.
Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
Log and update incidents in ticketing tools and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with vendors and L2/L3 teams for complex technical issues.
Follow IT policies, security standards, and SLA requirements.

Educational Qualification

Diploma / BCA / B.Sc. (IT/Computer Science) / B.E. / B.Tech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.

Soft Skills

Good communication and customer service skills
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Good documentation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to meet SLA and support timelines
Willingness to learn new technologies

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
