Atulyash Foods is a premium D2C subscription brand on a mission to deliver freshly stone-milled whole wheat flour directly to homes in South Delhi and Gurgaon. Because our operations run on an uncompromising early-morning schedule, our supply chain requires military precision. We are looking for a highly disciplined Logistics Manager to command our last-mile delivery fleet and customer care operations.
Role Overview: This position is focused on driving execution across operations, growth, and delivery systems, ensuring that plans translate into measurable outcomes on the ground. It requires a strong ownership mindset, problem-solving ability, and consistent execution discipline. You will command the last-mile fleet, ensure 100% on-time delivery, and manage daily financial reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Dispatch & Routing: Execute the 6:00 AM dispatch by commanding the daily load-balancing, ensuring no rider exceeds safe physical bag-carrying capacities. Monitor active GPS tracking continuously until the final rider completes their route.
- Crisis Management: Instantly deploy backup riders or vehicles during live transit breakdowns, accidents, or localised route closures in South Delhi and Gurgaon to protect the delivery window.
- Team Scaling & Contingency: Continuously source, evaluate, and assist in the hiring of competent Hub Managers and last-mile Delivery Riders to support rapid expansion. Proactively build and maintain an active backup pool of vetted operational resources to guarantee zero delivery downtime.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the critical operational bridge linking Top Management with Hub Managers, Delivery Riders, and the Customer Care team to efficiently resolve issues in real time.
- Customer Care Oversight: Manage and oversee the daily customer care operations, ensuring the support team strictly adheres to management's empathy-first guidelines and operational protocols.
- Financial Reconciliation: Take complete ownership of reverse logistics (RTOs) by physically inspecting undelivered inventory and returning it safely to the hub. Ensure all digital and cash collections from the delivery routes are fully reconciled and settled by the end of your shift.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in quick-commerce, last-mile logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably within the FMCG or perishable goods sector.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage, scale, and discipline a blue-collar fleet (riders and hub staff) in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
- Tech-Fluency: Highly comfortable navigating routing dashboards, live GPS tracking software, and Admin Panels for real-time problem solving.
- Mindset: Extreme ownership mentality with the physical and mental discipline to manage a 5:00 AM operational start daily.
