Medical Typist – Discharge Summary & Diagnostic Reports

Experience: 1–3 Years
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Typist with experience in preparing discharge summaries and diagnostic reports. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to deliver accurate reports within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and type discharge summaries based on doctors’ notes or dictation
Transcribe and format diagnostic reports including:
X-ray
CT Scan
USG (Ultrasound)
Echo (Echocardiography)
Ensure accuracy in medical terminology, formatting and documentation
Coordinate with doctors and radiologists for clarifications
Maintain confidentiality of patient records
Update and manage reports in hospital software (HMS/EMR)
Ensure timely completion of all assigned work

Candidate Requirements

1–3 years of experience as a Medical Typist / Medical Transcriptionist
Good knowledge of medical terminology and report formats
Excellent typing speed with high accuracy
Familiarity with HMS / EMR systems preferred
Basic computer skills (MS Word, data entry)
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Qualification

Graduate / Diploma in Medical Transcription or related field (preferred)
