Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

XII / BSC - Chemistry
5-8 yrs of Experience in a Distillery industry.
Technical and hands-on practical ability.
Prior alcohol experience is imperative.
Candidates should have experience of working in industrial fermentation setup either in upstream of downstream processing in production of probiotics or enzymes
Positive attitude, team player, and a willingness to 'go the extra mile'.
Willingness to work floating or alternating shifts should the need arise;
Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Works within clearly defined standard operations procedures and or scientific methods and adheres to quality.
Advanced critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English fluently in order to communicate effectively with team members within and external to department.
High attention to detail, especially to quality standards and compliance systems Basic computer operation and data entry skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible to ensure accurate and accountable performance of all necessary duties to ensure safe and efficient operations in the Fermentation areas of the Plant
Responsible to Operate the Fermentation process smoothly without any issues.
Responsible for the Fermentation process of taking the Wash (Distillation) prepared during the Alcoholic Fermentation which leads to a fermented Wash with high alcoholic content. The fermentation tank is cleaned, steamed and kept ready.
Responsible to add the Enzymes, Urea, magnesium, booster (FE enhancer etc.), relevant dosage is considered for the completion of the fermentation process every 4 times for 1 full fermentation process.
Responsible to ensure that the Fermentation is run in continuous mode, or in discontinuous mode when temperature of cooling water is critical. According to raw materials, a recycling of yeasts is carried out in order to reduce Fermentation duration.
Conduct preventive maintenance of the Fermentation equipment.
Ensure all safety devices of Fermentation Plant and log its status to ensure safety.
Maintain log book/register of all operations parameter is maintained as per company norms
Analyze Machine / equipment operation parameters so that malfunctions / faults can be detected and notify superiors to minimize breakdown.
Any other responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
