Acquiring, organizing, and maintaining collections of books, digital media, and other information materials.
Classifying, cataloguing, and indexing library materials for easy retrieval.
Maintain library inventory and conduct periodic audits of the information on file.
Oversee the library to ensure cleanliness, order, and protection of the library’s resources.
Develop and organize library inventory (e.g. with books, collections, periodicals, multimedia, etc.).
Manage library budgeting and billing for new equipment.
Supervise library assistants and other staff.
Ordering books, journals and other resources

Qualifications and experience

Must be master’s in library science or A PhD in Library and Information Sciences.
Thorough Knowledge of MS-Word, Excel, E-Mail etc.
Working knowledge in Library Management Software.
A master’s in library and information sciences with a minimum of 8 years of work experience
Ability and willingness to work, manage and supervise Library operations on 7x24 hour basis is necessary.
Fluency in English, Hindi, and Odia language.
