Key Responsibilities

Procedure Assistance

Infection Prevention and Control
Follow infection control and biomedical waste management guidelines.
Ensure proper high-level disinfection and reprocessing of endoscopes.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the endoscopy unit.
Patient Care
Assist in patient positioning and transportation when required.
Provide basic support and reassurance to patients before and after procedures.
Maintain patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Documentation and Inventory
Maintain procedure logs and equipment records.
Assist in inventory management of endoscopy supplies and accessories.
Report shortages and coordinate replenishment of stocks.
Safety and Compliance
Adhere to hospital policies, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Participate in departmental training and continuing education programs.
Assist during emergency situations as directed by the clinical team.

Qualifications

Work Location: In person
