Job Summary
The Transport Coordinator is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating transportation activities to ensure the timely and efficient movement of employees, goods, or materials. The role involves managing vehicle schedules, monitoring transportation operations, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily transportation schedules and vehicle assignments.
- Monitor vehicle movements and ensure timely arrivals and departures.
- Communicate with drivers, vendors, and internal departments regarding transport requirements.
- Plan efficient routes to optimize fuel consumption and reduce transportation costs.
- Maintain records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance.
- Ensure all vehicles have valid registrations, permits, insurance, and compliance documents.
- Track vehicle maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs when required.
- Handle transportation-related issues, delays, and emergencies promptly.
- Prepare transportation reports and analyze operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, traffic regulations, and safety standards.
- Verify driver documentation, licenses, and attendance records.
- Coordinate employee transportation services where applicable.
- Assist in budgeting and cost-control measures related to transportation operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet coordination.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation regulations and safety standards.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
