The Registered Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assisting doctors in medical procedures, and ensuring the smooth functioning of healthcare services. This role involves direct patient care, medication administration, and collaboration with medical teams to enhance patient recovery and hospital efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care & Clinical Services:

Provide direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs and assisting with medical procedures.
Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy as prescribed.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure timely documentation.
Assist doctors and specialists during treatments and surgeries.
Ensure infection control measures and hygiene protocols are strictly followed.

Emergency & Critical Care Support:

Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first-line care.
Assist in handling critical patients in ICU, emergency wards, and operation theaters.
Monitor post-surgical and critically ill patients for complications.

Patient Engagement & Family Support:

Educate patients and their families on post-treatment care and recovery.
Provide emotional support to patients and ensure a compassionate approach.
Address patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate medical team.

Coordination & Team Collaboration:

Work closely with doctors, specialists, and fellow nurses to ensure seamless patient care.
Coordinate with laboratory and pharmacy teams for tests and medication management.
Participate in hospital meetings, training programs, and workshops for continuous learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

Diploma in Nursing (GNM) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing).
Master’s in Nursing (MSc Nursing) is a plus.
Valid Nursing Registration Certificate from the respective nursing council.
Strong clinical knowledge and hands-on patient care experience.
Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
Proficiency in administering medications and IV therapy.
