About the Opportunity
Arch Recruiters is hiring an experienced Accounting / Finance Manager on behalf of our client. We are looking for a finance professional with strong expertise in US Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and QuickBooks Online (QBO). The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical skills, leadership experience, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple client accounts.
This role involves working directly with clients as well as supporting internal finance and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly financial reports, KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyze financial statements, cash flow, profitability, and financial ratios.
- Prepare and maintain Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and other financial reports.
- Assist clients with budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Review client financial statements to identify discrepancies, reconciliation issues, and reporting errors.
- Recommend improvements to accounting processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Work closely with client CFOs, CEOs, Controllers, and Accounting Managers on financial initiatives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
- Maintain accurate accounting records using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Perform bookkeeping activities as required.
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in US Accounting and Bookkeeping.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Minimum 3 years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience.
- Experience working with companies having less than $15 million in annual revenue.
- Strong knowledge of US accounting principles, financial reporting, and accounting best practices.
- Excellent understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow analysis, and reconciliations.
- Experience supervising 1–2 accounting team members.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience working with outsourced accounting firms or handling multiple client accounts.
- Strong client relationship management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to improve accounting workflows and financial processes.
