Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. This opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of experience who are looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance. The selected candidate will assist in managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
Prepare and process invoices, bills, receipts, and payment vouchers.
Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.
Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements.
Maintain and organize financial documents and records.
Assist during internal and external audits.
Coordinate with internal departments for finance-related activities.
Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.

Required Skills

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
Knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and financial documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
Working knowledge of Tally Prime/Tally ERP or similar accounting software.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA Finance, MBA Finance, or equivalent).
0–2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or Busy.
Basic understanding of payroll processing.
Knowledge of financial reporting and statutory compliance.
