Responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily truck dispatch operations to ensure on-time, cost-efficient deliveries. Acts as the communication link between drivers, customers, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign and track loads, monitor routes, and update delivery status.
- Communicate with drivers and resolve issues like delays or breakdowns.
- Maintain dispatch logs, trip data, and compliance records.
- Prepare basic performance and utilization reports in Excel.
Skills & Tools:
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Knowledge of LoadStop, Samsara, and Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of trucking operations and DOT compliance
Experience:
- 1–3 years in logistics or trucking dispatch preferred
- Experience in Trucking - Dry Van, Reefer, Low boy
