We are looking for Chinese Commi, Tandoor Commi, Conti Commi
Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes under the guidance of senior chefs.
Station Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization at assigned workstations, ensuring all ingredients are readily available.
Recipe Adherence: Follow recipes and guidelines provided by the head chef to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation.
Food Presentation: Assist in plating and presentation of dishes in accordance with established standards.
Quality Control: Monitor and ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in food preparation.
Kitchen Assistance: Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate smooth operation and communication within the kitchen.
Adaptability: Willingness to learn and adapt to new cooking techniques and methods as per the kitchen's requirements.
Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Requirements for Commis Chef:
Culinary Education: A diploma or degree in culinary arts or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Prior experience in a kitchen environment, even as an intern or apprentice, is advantageous.
Basic Cooking Skills: Proficient in fundamental cooking techniques and food preparation.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with other kitchen staff and follow instructions from senior chefs.
Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Passion for Food: A genuine passion for cooking and a desire to enhance culinary skills.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
