Elite Launch Team Search: Culinary Leaders Wanted at Seven Doors House, Goa

Location: Pilerne, North Goa

The Vibe: Seven Doors House is an exclusive 8-bedroom boutique heritage estate. We are not a mass-production hotel; we are an experiential luxury destination for elite domestic & International discerning guests. We are ONLY seeking COMMITTED, serious, passionate culinary leaders who treat food as an art form and a kitchen as a sanctuary of discipline.

Available Openings:

Head Chef (Creative Lead): Curates a hyper-seasonal, progressive, forage-driven heritage and farm-to-table menus celebrating Goan heritage with a progressive twist. Lead menu engineering, control food costs, build local vendor relationships, and manage kitchen leadership. Interact table-side with guests to share the narrative behind each dish.Mastery of modern Continental and progressive Goan/Indian cuisines.
Sous Chef (Second-in-Command): Bridges the creative vision with military-grade kitchen operations and strict 5-star hygiene SOPs. Manage daily kitchen operations, handle high-level culinary prep, and enforce strict 5-star hygiene/safety SOPs. Oversee the line during service, track stock consumption, and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
Chef de Partie – CDP (Section Leader): Takes absolute ownership of specific stations (Hot, Garde Manger, or Tandoor/Barbecue).Take ownership of a specific kitchen section. Ensure consistency in flavor, portioning, and plating for all dishes originating from their station.

Mandatory Eligibility Criteria: Education

Formal food safety and hygiene certifications (like HACCP or FSSAI) are highly valued & will be given preference.
Fluent English (Reading & Writing) is non-negotiable for menu engineering and guest communication. Spoken Hindi is a strong advantage.
Minimum Experience: Candidates looking for an easy, slow paced resort job should strictly not apply. Lazy, indisciplined, unhygienic or textbook-only chefs need not apply; trade tests & interviews will be highly rigorous.

Core Focus & Skills Required for all Chef positions:

Strong demonstrated knowledge of in continental, Indian, Asian,local & regional cuisines with good understanding of grilling, sauces, salads, deserts, plating techniques;
Ability to lead, manage and coordinate kitchen & F&B staff efficiently during service;
Strong understanding of food costing, portion control, inventory management, and minimizing waste management.
Absolute mastery over kitchen discipline, sanitation, and proactive organizational flow.
Willingness to train junior kitchen teams and align with F&B serving staff protocols.
Detail oriented, ensuring guest satisfaction, hygienic, punctual, disciplined and works well under pressure;

Strict Contractual Terms: Job Type: Full-Time, 2-Year Fixed-Term Contract.

Compensation & Long-Term Benefits: Base Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹60,000 per month (Negotiable for top-tier 5 Star Chef profiles based on actual experience, merit, 2 year commitment, interview & trade test performance).
Joining Bonus - (valid ONLY for candidates joining on or before August 15th 2026), i.e 15 days of agreed salary to be paid 3 months after signing employment contract.

Probation & Exit: 30-day probation period. Note: Candidates leaving before the 30-day probation concludes will receive no payment or reimbursements whatsoever.
Notice Period: 30 days mandatory. If a candidate exits without giving a 30-day written notice after signing, the employer reserves the legal right to adjust 30 days of salary in lieu of notice.
