Job Description

What you will do for Sectona

As an Account Manager (North), you will strengthen customer coverage, develop accounts, pipeline generation, and revenue growth across the North India market. This role is intended to complement the Regional Manager by increasing account coverage and sales execution capacity and will focus on developing assigned accounts, identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships, and driving opportunities through the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new enterprise accounts across BFSI, NBFCs,
Government/PSUs, IT/ITES, data centers, and large enterprises etc.
Build relationships with CISOs, CIOs, IT/Security Heads, IAM teams,
and key decision-makers.
Generate, qualify, and manage sales opportunities through the
complete sales cycle.
Develop account plans and identify upsell, cross-sell, expansion,
and new deployment opportunities.
Follow up on leads from events, webinars, conferences,
and marketing campaigns to generate qualified opportunities.
Develop and manage channel/SI partnerships to drive joint opportunities
and pipeline.
Coordinate customer meetings, workshops, webinars, demos, POCs,
proposals, and commercial discussions with internal teams.
Work closely with the Regional Manager and Sales Engineering team
to progress strategic and high-value opportunities.
Maintain accurate CRM data, pipeline updates, forecasts,
and opportunity tracking.
Achieve assigned sales targets and consistently build a healthy pipeline
across the territory.

Requirements

Required Skills and Experience:

3-7 years of overall experience in B2B Sales
Bachelor's degree; MBA/technical qualification is an advantage.
Should have experience in a customer facing role.
Enterprise consultative selling + solution selling.
SI, VAR, distributor and partner-led sales.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Experience working with channel partners and system integrators.
Ability to understand and articulate technical solutions at a business level.
Proven enterprise B2B sales track record.
Experience selling cybersecurity or IT.
Strong understanding of the CISO/security buying process.
Ability to independently generate pipeline and acquire new logos.
Strong account management and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Good CRM discipline and pipeline/forecast management.

Preferred Experience:

3-7 years of Cybersecurity Experience
PAM/ IAM
