Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month

Job Summary

Sri Vijayaganapathy Stores is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst with 4+ years of experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, including payments, petty cash, cash flow management, budgeting, financial reporting, and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis. The ideal candidate will ensure financial accuracy, maintain compliance with internal controls, and provide valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process vendor, employee, and statutory payments accurately and on time.
Maintain and reconcile petty cash, ensuring proper documentation and periodic verification.
Prepare, monitor, and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow statements.
Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
Monitor revenue, costs, operating expenses, and overall profitability.
Monitor cash balances and support effective working capital management.
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial dashboards for management.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Track operational expenses and recommend cost optimization opportunities.
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders for payment processing and financial documentation.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and statutory requirements.
Support internal and external audits by providing financial records, schedules, and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.
Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

4+ years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow management, accounts payable, and P&L analysis.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial formulas) and ERP/accounting software.
Good knowledge of bank reconciliation, statutory payments, financial controls, and GST/TDS compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
