Key Responsibilities:

Undertake contract review and requirements for piping engineering and ensure design basis is in line with project parameters.

Interacting with client share technical presentation and prepare technical document.

Experience on Water Treatment Plan (WTP) is mandatory.

Review Piping snake routing with supports and review nozzle orientation with process and static engineering departments. Timely completion of assign Engineering tasks.
-
Quality of completed tasks should be as per Engineering checklist to maintain accuracy.

Coordinate and review junior Engineer and Modelers assign tasks.
-
Record Technical Queries Request (TQR), Design Change Request (DCR), Field Change Request (FCR) w.r.t. Piping engineering with effective on time closure.

Ensure all documents Equipment Layout and Plot Plan, Piping General Arrangement, Line List, Input, document, Equipment CLD) are accurate and complete on schedule.

Review Engineering Task completed by Junior Engineers and Modeler.

Support and Guide Team member to complete their Task efficiently and release the completed task.

Handle Customer queries and propose engineering solution and implement in the Project with demonstration.

Need to coordinate with other Engineering department, like, Civil, Structure, Static, Electrica and Instrumentation to ensure all are aligned to same engineering specification and design.

Review all Piping Technical documents, Valve Spec, Pipe spec, isometric drawings, line list.
-
Track and monitor Project activities from start to commissioning and resolve site and manufacturing issues.

Interacting with Project manager and Client for smooth Project completion.

Ability to handle projects individually

Sound knowledge on ASME Codes - piping
-
Perform Engineering calculations for piping Design like pipe thickness and size.
-
Preparation of Piping Isometrics based on Layout drawing.
-
Preparation of Piping Design by referring P&ID
-
IBR calculations for pipe design
-
Ability to read P & ID and based on that prepare Piping 3D
-
Ability to read CAESAR II report.
-
Extraction of BOM from Isometric drawing
-
Preparation of Piping Layout.
-
Familiar with Navis model and clash test
-
Preparation of P&ID based on input.
-
Knowledge of equipment creation on the basis of Equipment GA.
-
Skid Basis piping Ex - Pump skid
Skills and Experience Required:
-
8 to 10 Years of experience in piping design and engineering
-
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
-
Experience working in the oil and gas industry
-
Strong understanding of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)
-
Experience with 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, Cad Works, AutoCAD
-
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluency in English

Knowledge of excel word and Power point
