Full job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and motivated MERN Stack Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in full-stack web development using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) framework. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of modern web technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using the MERN Stack.
Collaborate with senior developers to design, develop, and implement new features.
Learn and apply functional programming and best coding practices.
Work with REST APIs for data integration and server communication.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization.
Work with Git for version control and collaborate effectively using branching and merging.
Assist in setting up CI/CD pipelines and understanding DevOps workflows.
Gain exposure to database management using MySQL, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, share progress, and contribute ideas to improve project outcomes.

Requirements:

Basic knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development principles.
Familiarity with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB is preferred.
Understanding of REST APIs and HTTP protocols.
Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
Eagerness to learn new technologies and improve continuously.
Ability to work on-site and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) or DevOps tools is a plus.
Experience with UI/UX design or frontend frameworks is an added advantage.
