About the role:
Placement process
- To bring employment/income generating/livelihood opportunities for the students and place them accordingly after the completion of the training program
- To connect, visit and network with employers, entrepreneurs, and start-ups for job openings
- To keep a track of all employers and be in touch with them and maintain a sheet
- To be involved in online research and keep track of job openings on a periodical basis and share the information with each class in charge for placement mapping
- To connect students with appropriate job openings in discussion with the Coordinator.
- Take complete ownership and monitoring of placement calls by the intern and keep the calling sheet updated from time to time and share it with the concerned person every Friday/Saturday.
- To arrange focused placement training for the non-placed students in coordination with the State Coordinator.
- To ensure placement details of students are kept intact by the class in-charges from time to time
- To ensure overall maintenance and safety of the proof of placement in hard and soft format for each FY.
- Job Utsav: To organize Job Utsavs and bring potential employers with appropriate vacancies and maintain data of every JU.
Placement documentation
- To generate placement leads, update every week and submit the same
- To prepare placement monthly report and submit every month
- To maintain error-free placement data for all students in coordination with the person in-charges
- To coordinate with the class in-charges and map students accordingly based on the vacancies from time to time
- To prepare placement report for every quarter and annually
Specific allied programs
- Coffee meet with employers: To take complete ownership of allied program namely ‘Coffee meet with employers’ for every batch
- Invite guests for coffee meet with employers and collect required documents and hand it over to DPC (Deputy project coordinator) for payment process
- Placement Exposure visit: Identify establishments/ organizations where students can be taken for placement exposure visit.
- Seek permission from the establishments/ organizations well in advance for the visit
- Send invite/ request mail and thank you mail formally for such guests of coffee meet with employers and placement exposure visit on a regular basis
Qualification: Any Graduate/Post Graduate
Experience: 2-3 Years of experience in placements
Skills: Excellent in communication and public relations. Proficient with English + the local language of the state.
