The Hospital Physiotherapist is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing physiotherapy treatment programs for inpatients and outpatients to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore physical function. The role involves working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Assess patients’ physical condition, mobility, strength, and functional abilities
- Develop individualized physiotherapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy for:
- Orthopedic conditions
- Neurological disorders
- Post-operative rehabilitation
- ICU and respiratory care patients
- Sports and musculoskeletal injuries
- Use therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and mobility training
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding exercises and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
- Coordinate with consultants, surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure infection control and patient safety standards are followed
- Assist in discharge planning and home exercise programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) – Mandatory
- Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) – Preferred
- Valid registration with State Physiotherapy/Medical Council
- Internship or hospital experience preferred
Experience
- Fresher to 3 years experience in hospital or rehabilitation setup
- Experience in ICU, neuro, ortho, or cardio rehabilitation is an advantage

Pay: ₹10,363.74 - ₹35,781.02 per month
