Minimum Qualification and Experience:
- BE/B. Tech/Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics with a min. 6 Years of post-qualification work experience including min. 4 Years in Data Center/MSC/Critical facility.
Job Description:
- An excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems involved in critical MSC/Data Centre Operations including systems such as feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switch gears, UPS Systems, ATS Units, PDU Units, PAC/CAC Units etc.
- Proven track record of people management and developing teams.
- Ability to solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context and having strong aptitude for trouble shooting and problem solving.
- Shows good judgment and instincts in decision making.
- Ability to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
- Oversee all aspects of the MSC/Data Center's critical physical infrastructure. To ensure that all work performed within the space is done with high quality following the Change Management practices and without any impact (Zero-downtime) on critical IT Systems and Applications operational in the Data Center.
- Manage all facilities operations, planning, Repair and Maintenance related jobs in the MSC/Data Center, and ensure quality of documentation in the mission critical infrastructure.
- Manage and lead the outsourced staff in the DC to ensure smooth Data Center operations on 24x7x365 basis.
- Coordinates daily with a multitude of third-party vendors for planned preventive maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and any other relevant activity ensuring adherence to contracted SLAs.
- Site resource management by job allocation and supervision to onsite resources and close co-ordination with site customer’s officer in-charge in case of escalations and/or non-compliance of SLA with vendor(s).
- Preparation of Daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly/yearly Management Information System reports.
- Incident Management in the Non-IT Infrastructure domain, submission of Root Cause Analysis report for critical incident(s) within 24 Hours and risk assessment reports etc. at site.
- Supervision of additional projects in the MSC/DC, if any.
- Provide timely inputs to customer for continuous improvement areas in Data Center domain.
- Implementation of SOP including all Safety and PPE compliances at site as per customer’s HSSE guidelines.
- Candidate will be working in general shift (from Monday to Saturday), check/verify System health reports/Shift Schedules and Shift reports submitted by Data Center Operators and Engineers.
- Candidate will have regular performance review of the team and will plan to replace the non-performing staff or to replace the staff who has resigned from the services by initiating recruitment process of the new staff.
