We are looking for a Confident and Engaging Podcast Host to join our Media Team. The ideal candidate should have a strong personality, confident voice, excellent communication skills and the ability to conduct engaging conversations with guests from different backgrounds.
The role will primarily involve hosting podcasts with political leaders, public figures, social personalities and entertainment professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Host and conduct engaging podcast interviews with political leaders, public figures and entertainment personalities.
- Prepare relevant questions and conduct conversations in a natural, confident and engaging manner.
- Demonstrate strong questioning and cross-questioning skills, especially during political interviews.
- Research guests, topics and current affairs before each podcast to ensure informed and meaningful conversations.
- Ask follow-up questions and confidently explore important points during discussions.
- Maintain a professional, engaging and balanced approach while interacting with different guests.
- Adapt communication style according to the guest, topic and audience.
Skills & Requirements
- Excellent and confident speaking voice with strong presentation and communication skills.
- Strong command of Punjabi, Hindi and English, with the ability to speak all three languages fluently and naturally.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Punjab politics, Indian politics and current affairs.
- Excellent questioning, follow-up and cross-questioning skills.
- Strong personality with confidence, presence of mind and the ability to handle unexpected responses.
- Good research, preparation and conversation skills.
- Previous experience in podcasting, journalism, news anchoring, interviewing, media or public speaking will be an advantage.
- Freshers with exceptional communication and presentation skills may also be considered.
