Full job description

We are looking for a passionate and curious Food Technologist to join our team in Jaipur and work at the intersection of food technology, nutrition, and product innovation.

The role will focus on exploring emerging food and nutrition technologies, researching functional ingredients, and developing innovative food compositions specifically designed for children’s nutrition and women’s nutrition.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in food technology and nutrition, a scientific approach to product development, and an interest in creating nutritious, safe, and consumer-focused food products.

Key Responsibilities

Research and explore new food technologies, ingredients, processing techniques, and nutrition innovations.
Develop and curate new food compositions and formulations for children’s nutrition and women’s nutrition.
Conduct literature and market research on emerging nutrition trends, functional ingredients, and food technologies.
Evaluate ingredients based on nutritional value, functionality, safety, stability, taste, and suitability for the target consumer.
Assist in formulation trials, prototype development, testing, and optimization.
Work on improving nutritional profiles while maintaining taste, texture, shelf life, and product feasibility.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, quality, sourcing, and other relevant functions.
Maintain proper documentation of formulations, trials, observations, and product development activities.
Stay updated with developments in food science, nutrition science, functional foods, nutraceutical ingredients, and food processing technologies.
Support the development of innovative and science-backed nutrition products from concept to commercialization.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant industry experience in food technology, food product development, R&D, formulation, or a related area.
Strong understanding of food ingredients, formulation, food processing, and basic nutrition principles.
Genuine interest in children’s nutrition and women’s nutrition.
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Candidates who have worked on functional foods, fortified foods, health foods, nutrition products, or formulation projects will be preferred.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
