Direct Tax and Transfer Pricing

In addition, you have:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory; additional qualifications such as CMA, MBA, or Diploma in International Taxation will be an advantage.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in transfer pricing and international taxation.
- Experience in a manufacturing multinational corporation and/or with a Big 4 accounting firm is preferred.
- Knowledge of Indian Income Tax Law
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and Power-point
- Strong knowledge of:
Indian transfer pricing regulations.
OECD Transfer Pricing Guidelines.
BEPS Action 13 (Master File, Local File, CbCR).
Double Taxation Avoidance Agreements (DTAAs).
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting software – SAP
- Exposure to transfer pricing audits, assessments, and litigation matters.
- Fluency in writing and speaking English; every additional language will be considered an asset.

- Ability to identify and report areas of possible conflicts between RHIM strategy and market trends. At the same time actively propose strategies for compensation of those.
About the job
We are currently looking for a proactive, action-oriented and highly motivated Chartered account/CMA with direct tax and transfer pricing experience to manage and facilitate the accurate and time compliances under income tax law to manage our Direct Tax function on a full-time basis. This position will be based at our Gurugram office.
The Specialist is responsible for transfer pricing to manage and facilitate accurate and timely compliances under income tax law.
Your tasks will include:
- Manage the preparation and timely filing of Form 3CEB, Master File, and other applicable transfer pricing disclosures.
- Coordinate with external consultants for preparation and updating of Local File and benchmarking studies.
- Ensure transfer pricing documentation is robust, defensible, and aligned with OECD guidelines and Group policies.
- Review and monitor intercompany transactions through preparation of segmentation including:
- Purchase and sale of goods.
- Intra-group services.
- Royalties and technical fees.
- Loans, guarantees, and interest.
- Cost allocations and management charges.
- Perform year-end transfer pricing true-up calculations and support implementation in ERP systems.
- Coordinate and manage transfer pricing audits and assessments.
- Prepare responses to notices from the Transfer Pricing Officer (TPO) and tax authorities.
- Support proceedings before DRP, CIT(A), ITAT, and higher appellate forums.
- Assist with APA and MAP applications where relevant.
- Review and maintain intercompany agreements to ensure consistency with transfer pricing policies and actual conduct.
- Coordinate with legal and global tax teams for updates and execution.
- Support tax provisioning for transfer pricing adjustments and uncertain tax positions.
- Provide transfer pricing advice on new transactions, restructuring, and business initiatives.
- Maintain transfer pricing compliance and litigation trackers.
- Identify opportunities to automate transfer pricing calculations and reporting.
