Job Description:
BHARATINDUS METALS PRIVATE LIMITED is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented MMS Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying metal/structural components and assemblies as per customer requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge in mechanical design, sheet metal/structural design concepts, drafting standards, and manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities:
Design & Engineering
· Prepare 2D and 3D design drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or related design software
· Develop detailed engineering drawings, layouts, BOMs, and fabrication drawings
· Design metal structures, assemblies, brackets, supports, and fabrication components as per project equirements
· Modify existing designs based on production and customer feedback
· Ensure designs comply with technical specifications, standards, and quality requirements
· Coordinate with production and project teams for design feasibility and implementation
Project Coordination
- Understand customer requirements and prepare design solutions accordingly
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments such as production, quality, SCM, and projects
- Support production during prototype development and manufacturing stages
- Participate in design review meetings and provide technical inputs
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain design documents, revision records, and engineering files
- Prepare and update BOMs (Bill of Materials)
- Ensure proper documentation of drawings and project records
- Submit daily/weekly work progress reports to management
Desired Candidate Profile:
· Educational Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and fabrication design concepts
- Experience in sheet metal/structural design preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA, or similar software
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
