About the role:
We are looking for a freelance PR professional who can drive media visibility and manage external communications end-to-end. This is a hands-on, output-driven role - not advisory. The focus is on getting consistent, high-quality media coverage and building leadership visibility.
Scope of Work & Deliverables
1. Media Coverage (Core KPI)
- Secure 4 - 6 quality media features/mentions per month (business/media publications).
- Build and actively manage relationships with journalists and editors.
2. Leadership Profiling
- Drive LinkedIn and media visibility for leadership.
- Secure interviews, quotes, and speaking opportunities.
3. PR Strategy & Execution
- Create monthly PR plan with clear story angles.
- Identify news hooks, trends, and proactive PR opportunities.
4. Monitoring & Reporting
- Track coverage, share monthly PR report (coverage, reach, quality).

Monitor industry/news trends and flag risks or opportunities.
5. Crisis & Reputation Management (as needed)
- Draft holding statements and ensure consistent external messaging.
Performance Expectations (Critical)
- Clear focus on outcomes (coverage), not just activity.
- Strong media network (India business media preferred).

Eligibility
- 3-6 years of PR / media relations experience.
