**App Developer Intern Company: Orbit XII Technologies Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Department: Technology & Product **About the Company** Orbit XII Technologies is currently developing PopPop, a next-generation participation-first platform designed around learning, communities, social experiences, events, and real-world collaboration. The platform is built around four core layers — School (workshops, cohorts, bootcamps, mentorship programs), Social (meetups, networking events, creator events, lifestyle experiences), Community (group chats, feeds, rooms, stories, announcements), and Collab (group planning, venue booking, cost splitting, project coordination) — all inside one unified product. PopPop is being designed with features spanning event ticketing and QR access infrastructure, community management tools, AI-powered discovery and networking, social commerce, real-time communication, booking infrastructure, and creator ecosystems. The platform is intended to serve students, creators, organizers, professionals, hobby groups, educational institutions, local communities, businesses, and brands inside one integrated operating system for participation. As an early-stage startup, Orbit XII Technologies offers interns the opportunity to work closely with the founding team, contribute directly to real product development, participate in strategic discussions, and gain practical exposure to startup operations, mobile app development, and consumer platform building at scale. **Internship Overview** We are looking for motivated and technically curious App Developer Interns to help build the core PopPop platform from the ground up. The intern will work with the technology team to design, develop, and iterate on mobile and web application features across all four layers of the platform — contributing to real product decisions and shipping real features. **Roles & Responsibilities** - Build and iterate on mobile and web application features across the PopPop platform - Develop core infrastructure including event ticketing flows, RSVP systems, QR-based access, community feeds, group chat, and Collab planning tools - Translate product requirements and designs into clean, functional, and performant app experiences - Integrate third-party APIs and services into the platform - Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality - Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues, and UX friction points - Collaborate with the product and design team to refine features before and after launch - Document technical implementations and contribute to internal knowledge sharing - Stay current with emerging mobile development tools, frameworks, and best practices **Eligibility Criteria** Students pursuing or recently completed: - B.Tech / BE - BCA - MCA - Computer Science - Information Technology - Software Engineering - Related technical programs **Preferred Skills** - Mobile App Development (React Native, Flutter, Swift, or Kotlin) - Web Development Fundamentals (React, TypeScript, or equivalent) - REST API Integration - State Management Concepts - Version Control (Git) - Basic Understanding of Backend Systems - Problem Solving and Analytical Thinking - Familiarity with App Store / Play Store Deployment (Preferred) **Learning Areas During Internship** Interns may gain exposure to: - Consumer Mobile App Development - Scalable Platform Architecture - Event and Ticketing Infrastructure - Community and Communication Systems - AI-Powered Discovery and Recommendation Features - Social Commerce and Monetization Infrastructure - Real-World Collaboration and Booking Systems - Agile Product Development in a Startup Environment **Internship Benefits** - Hands-on mobile and app development experience in a technology startup - Opportunity to build features used by real users on a live consumer platform - Exposure to full-stack product development across a complex, multi-layered application - Certificate of Completion - Letter of Recommendation based on performance - Mentorship from the founding and technology teams - Opportunity for future long-term collaboration based on performance **Performance-Based ESOP Opportunity** At Orbit XII Technologies, we believe in rewarding individuals who contribute meaningfully to the company's growth and vision.
