Midwifery OSCE Trainer (Remote)

Job Type: Zero-Hours Contract

We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Midwifery OSCE Trainer (UK NMC registered or OSCE passed) to join our growing academic team. This is a flexible remote position with excellent opportunities for professional growth and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging live online Midwifery OSCE training sessions.
Support learners through structured teaching, demonstrations and clinical discussions.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to improve candidate performance.
Assist in developing and updating training materials in line with current NMC standards.
Participate in mock OSCE assessments where required.
Maintain high standards of teaching, professionalism and learner support.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

Be currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC UK).
Have been in clinical practice as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse within the last 3 years.
Hold a relevant nursing or midwifery degree.
Demonstrate excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Be confident using computers and Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.).
Have access to a reliable internet connection and a suitable remote working environment.

Desirable

Previous OSCE teaching or mentoring experience.
Experience supporting internationally educated healthcare professionals.
Experience delivering online training or presentations.
