We are looking for a passionate, creative, and dynamic Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and craft an unforgettable dining experience for travelers and locals alike.
The Role
As the Head Chef at Sanskriti, you will be the captain of our culinary ship. You will design, execute, and oversee a diverse, multi-cuisine menu that includes Continental, Italian, Pan-Asian, and modern Indian fusion, alongside healthy/cafe-style bites.
Key Responsibilities
- Menu Innovation: Design and constantly elevate a high-quality, multi-cuisine menu (including wood-fired pizzas, pastas, wellness bowls, local infusions, and specialty appetizers).
- Kitchen Management: Manage daily kitchen operations, ensure optimal prep lines, and maintain a seamless flow between the kitchen and service team.
- Quality Control: Maintain strict standards of food taste, presentation, portion control, and hygiene.
- Inventory & Costing: Oversee stock ordering, manage vendor relationships, minimize food wastage, and ensure food costing aligns with budget targets.
- Team Leadership: Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Culinary Expertise: Proven experience as a Chef in a multi-cuisine setup. Strong command over Continental, Italian, and Fusion cuisines is a must.
- Creativity: Ability to design instagram-worthy food presentations that match a trendy rooftop aesthetic.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a bustling, high-energy tourist hub and catering to both domestic and international palates.
- Leadership: Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a young kitchen crew under pressure.
- Hygiene First: Deep understanding of food safety, sanitization, and kitchen maintenance standards.
