Job Description: Associate Designer & Planning Specialist (Government Projects) Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional with 3–5 years of experience to join our team in Jaipur. This role focuses primarily on civic, urban, and government-backed infrastructure initiatives (such as smart city developments, public space transformations, and municipal master planning). The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between creative urban design and technical government compliance, utilizing a strong suite of drafting and visualization tools. Key Responsibilities Technical Drafting & Modeling: Create detailed, accurate 2D municipal/working drawings, layouts, and public infrastructure schematics using AutoCAD. Develop high-quality 3D spatial models in SketchUp to communicate design intent. Visualization & Presentation: Render, refine, and enhance design layouts, zoning graphics, and visual proposals using Photoshop for submission to government bodies and stakeholders. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive project reports, Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), and data sheets using MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Liaison & Compliance: Ensure all drafts and architectural submissions strictly align with state urban bylaws, Rajasthan municipal building regulations, and specific tender requirements. Project Coordination: Work closely with senior architects, urban planners, and government engineers to track project timelines, execute revisions, and support on-site coordination. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience: 3 to 5 years of professional experience in an architectural firm, urban planning consultancy, or infrastructure company. Mandatory Software Proficiency: AutoCAD: Advanced 2D drafting, site layouts, and technical detailing. SketchUp: Confident 3D massing and spatial modeling. Photoshop: Render editing, master plan coloring, and visual presentations. MS Office: Heavy usage of Excel for data/billing tracking and Word/PowerPoint for reporting. Education: Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a highly relevant design discipline.
