Job Summary
The IELTS Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality IELTS preparation classes, guiding students to achieve their desired band scores, and ensuring academic excellence in line with IELTS standards. The role involves teaching all four modules—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking—while providing personalized feedback and continuous performance evaluation.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct IELTS training sessions according to the latest exam format
- Teach IELTS Academic and General Training modules effectively
- Prepare daily lesson plans, study materials, and practice exercises
- Conduct regular mock tests and evaluate student performance
- Provide detailed feedback on Writing tasks and Speaking assessments
- Identify students’ strengths and weaknesses and design improvement strategies
- Maintain student attendance, performance records, and progress reports
- Guide students on exam strategies, time management, and band improvement
- Stay updated with IELTS exam changes and teaching best practices
- Participate in academic meetings, training sessions, and curriculum updates
- Ensure a positive, disciplined, and motivating learning environment
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or related field
- IELTS Academic score of 7.5 band or above (no module less than 7.0)
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience as an IELTS Trainer or English Language Trainer
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and strong IELTS scores may be considered
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent spoken and written English proficiency
- Strong understanding of IELTS band descriptors and assessment criteria
- Effective classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to deliver both group and individual training sessions
- Strong analytical and feedback skills, especially for Writing and Speaking modules
- Professional attitude with a student-centric approach
Preferred Qualifications (Optional)
- TESOL / TEFL / CELTA certification.
- Exposure to international education standards
Work Schedule
- 5–6 working days per week
- Flexible shifts (morning / evening batches.
