Full job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Divisional Sales Manager to oversee sales operations in the Sangli region. The successful candidate will lead and manage a team of sales executives, drive sales strategies, develop new business opportunities, and ensure the achievement of regional sales targets. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage customer relationships and market growth effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet regional sales targets.
Monitor and drive the sales team to achieve set goals and revenue growth.
Conduct regular performance reviews with the sales team and ensure KPIs are met.

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure high performance.
Organize regular training programs for sales staff to enhance their skills and product knowledge.
Assign sales territories and manage team performance in line with company goals.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners in the region.
Handle customer issues and complaints effectively to maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.

Market Analysis & Reporting:

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, market activities, and competitor strategies to senior management.
Track and analyze sales data to identify improvement areas and implement corrective actions.

Sales Forecasting & Budgeting:

Prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets for the region.
Monitor sales expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.

Promotions & Marketing Support:

Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement regional promotions and advertising campaigns.
Organize local events, product demonstrations, and promotional activities to drive sales.

Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure compliance with company policies and sales procedures.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, customer interactions, and team performance.

Skills and Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role in the relevant industry.
Skills:
Proven track record of sales leadership and target achievement.
Strong team management, coaching, and mentoring skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
In-depth knowledge of the local market in the Sangli region.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage budgets and sales forecasting.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
