Job Title: Foundry Design Engineer

Location: Miraj, Sangli

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹50,000 Gross per Month

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly capable and detail-oriented Foundry Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Miraj, Sangli. In this role, you will utilize your expertise in CAD modeling, product design, and industrial scanning technologies to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will combine advanced software skills with a practical understanding of foundry casting processes to create accurate, production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Modeling & Drafting: Create, modify, and optimize precision 2D and 3D design models using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
3D Scanning & Data Processing: Perform physical 2D and 3D scanning operations and process raw scan data into accurate, usable design blueprints.
Technical Documentation: Develop detailed engineering drawings, production blueprints, and comprehensive design documentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate directly with floor production and quality control teams to ensure accurate design implementation and resolve manufacturing queries.
Product Development: Support new product development (NPD) cycles and continuous process improvement activities to optimize casting efficiency.
Standards Compliance: Review and verify that all design outputs strictly align with established foundry capabilities and international quality standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education: Diploma (DME) or B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 6 years of proven product design experience within a foundry, casting, or heavy manufacturing environment.
Software Expertise: Deep proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD is mandatory.
Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of foundry manufacturing processes, casting methodologies, and 2D/3D scanning techniques.
Core Skills: Exceptional ability to interpret complex engineering drawings, mechanical tolerances, and geometric specifications.
Attributes: Solid problem-solving capabilities, a methodical approach, and clear communication skills.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
