Job Description: Accountant

Location: Euro International School, Sikar
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to ₹35,000 per month
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years
Preferred Background: Prior experience in a school or educational institution will be an added advantage.

About the Role

Euro International School is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support the smooth functioning of the school’s finance and compliance processes.

The role requires someone who is strong with numbers, disciplined with documentation, and comfortable handling routine accounting responsibilities with accuracy and ownership.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting entries, vouchers, bills, receipts, and supporting documents.
Handle cash, bank, and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
Manage and verify fee-related accounting records, collections, and related entries.
Process and maintain records for vendor payments, expenses, reimbursements, and purchases.
Support salary processing and maintain relevant financial documentation.
Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related work, wherever applicable.
Prepare periodic financial summaries, reports, and statements for internal review.
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors, and internal teams as required.
Ensure proper filing, confidentiality, and accuracy of all financial documents and records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Working knowledge of Tally or similar accounting software.
Strong command over MS Excel and basic reporting.
Good understanding of bookkeeping, reconciliations, billing, and financial documentation.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.

Preferred

Experience in a school, college, or educational institution.
Familiarity with fee accounting, payroll coordination, and institutional finance processes.
