Assistant Professor / Associate Professor – B.Pharmacy

Department: Pharmaceutical Sciences / Pharmacy

Location: Libra, Punjab

Job Description

We are looking for qualified and motivated Assistant Professors / Associate Professors to join our B.Pharmacy Department. The candidate will be responsible for teaching, laboratory sessions, student mentoring, research activities, and supporting departmental academic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct lectures and laboratory practicals for B.Pharm students.
Prepare lesson plans and course materials as per the prescribed curriculum and PCI guidelines.
Guide students in academic projects, research work, and career development.
Conduct research and contribute to research publications.
Maintain laboratory standards and ensure proper use of equipment and instruments.
Assist with examinations, departmental documentation, and academic activities.
Support PCI, NAAC, and other accreditation-related activities.
Participate in institutional events, academic development programs, and departmental initiatives.

Qualifications

B.Pharm and M.Pharm in a relevant specialization.
Specializations preferred: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, or Pharmacognosy.
First Class or equivalent qualification preferred.
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences will be an advantage, particularly for Associate Professor roles.
Valid State Pharmacy Council registration.
Candidates should meet applicable PCI/UGC eligibility requirements.

Experience

Associate Professor: 3–5 years of relevant teaching/research experience with a strong publication profile.

Skills Required

Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical subjects and relevant regulations.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Strong classroom management and student mentoring abilities.
Ability to conduct laboratory practicals and handle pharmaceutical equipment.
Research and academic writing skills.
Good teamwork, coordination, and organizational skills.
Commitment to academic ethics and student development.
