Key Responsibilities

Image Interpretation: Analyze and interpret diagnostic images to detect abnormalities, injuries, or illnesses.

Procedure Oversight: Perform or direct radiology technicians in operating imaging equipment, and occasionally conduct image-guided, minimally invasive interventional procedures.
Reporting: Write precise, detailed diagnostic reports and share clinical recommendations with referring physicians and care teams.
Quality & Safety: Ensure imaging procedures follow strict radiation safety standards and government health regulations.

Core Skills & Requirements

Medical Degree: Must hold a medical degree (MD or equivalent) with specialized postgraduate training (e.g., MD or DNB in Radiology).
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to decipher complex scans and pinpoint underlying issues.
Communication: Ability to clearly communicate highly technical findings to fellow medical professionals and patients.
Attention to Detail: Precision and thoroughness to ensure accurate diagnosis and prevent missed findings
