Job Description – Sales Executive – BHL

Designation: Sales Executive – BHL (Backhoe Loader)
Department: Sales

Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic and target-oriented Sales Executive – BHL responsible for promoting and selling Backhoe Loaders and related Construction Equipment in the assigned territory.

The candidate should have strong field sales, lead generation, customer handling and negotiation skills, along with willingness to travel extensively in the assigned market.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new leads and business opportunities for BHL / Construction Equipment.
Identify and approach contractors, builders, infrastructure companies, fleet owners, rental companies and individual machine owners.
Conduct regular field visits and customer meetings.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable machines.
Explain product features, specifications, applications, benefits and commercial terms.
Arrange machine demonstrations and trials at customer sites.
Prepare quotations and follow up with customers for order closure.
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers.
Coordinate with banks/NBFCs for customer finance requirements.
Coordinate with Service and Parts teams for machine delivery and after-sales support.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing and market trends.
Maintain customer database, daily visit reports, sales reports and MIS.
Follow up with customers from lead generation to booking, delivery and payment.
Develop the assigned territory and increase market penetration.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate / Diploma in any discipline.
1–5 years of experience in BHL / Construction Equipment / Heavy Equipment Sales.
Candidates from JCB, Tata Hitachi, CASE, ACE, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo CE, Hyundai Construction Equipment, Escorts Kubota, Mahindra Construction Equipment or similar companies will be preferred.
Candidates having Tractor / Tractor Loader / Commercial Vehicle Sales experience can also be considered.
Good knowledge of local market and customer network.
Strong communication, negotiation and convincing skills.
Target-oriented and self-motivated.
Comfortable with extensive field travelling.
Valid driving licence preferred.
