Position: Centre Head
Location: Shimla
Department: Operations & Sales
Reporting To: Area Sales Head / Regional Manager

Role Summary

The Centre Head will be responsible for the overall business performance, operations, student experience, and profitability of the academy. The role requires driving admissions, managing the centre team, ensuring operational excellence, and maintaining Lakmé Academy's brand standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness & Sales

Achieve monthly targets for Admissions, Bookings, Billing, and Collections.
Increase enquiries through local marketing, workshops, referrals, BTL activities, and partnerships.
Monitor daily walk-ins, conversions, and follow-up activities.
Drive student upgrades, cross-selling, and rollover collections.
Ensure all collections and bookings are uploaded on time.

Centre Operations

Manage the day-to-day operations of the academy.
Ensure smooth functioning of classrooms, labs, equipment, and infrastructure.
Maintain all operational records, including walk-in forms, admission forms, log sheets, attendance, and fee records.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and company policies.

Team Management

Lead, motivate, and mentor counsellors, trainers, and support staff.
Conduct daily review meetings and performance tracking.
Ensure trainers maintain high-quality delivery and student engagement.
Build a positive and performance-driven culture.

Student Experience

Ensure high student satisfaction and timely resolution of concerns.
Conduct student feedback sessions regularly.
Encourage participation in academy events, competitions, workshops, and brand activities.
Monitor student attendance, progress, and course completion.

Marketing & Brand Visibility

Execute local marketing campaigns and BTL activities.
Build relationships with schools, colleges, salons, and local businesses.
Organize seminars, demo workshops, scholarship tests, and referral campaigns.
Ensure proper visibility and branding of the academy.

Compliance & Reporting

Submit daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
Maintain accurate student documentation.
Ensure compliance with audit requirements and company processes.
Coordinate with Head Office for operational and academic activities.

Eligibility

Graduate or Postgraduate in any discipline.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Centre Operations, Sales, Retail, Education, or Service Industry.
At least 2 years of experience in managing a team and business targets.
Experience in the education, beauty & wellness, retail, or training industry will be preferred.

Required Skills

Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and counselling skills.
Sales and business development orientation.
Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Customer-centric approach with excellent relationship management skills.

Achievement of Admissions, Bookings, Billing, and Collection targets.
Walk-in to admission conversion ratio.
Student satisfaction and retention.
